Hello!

Hello, my name is Kate Kelly and I design and make paper sculptures.

I love to work in paper because I find it a very unrestrictive medium; it bends and folds to any shape, it is easy coloured and textured in many different ways, it is cheap and always on hand, and it is the very material that I use to make my first designs and sketches. I am an avid doodler and constantly have paper on hand to keep my fingers and brain busy. Paper is also very practical in the sense that, when my design ideas go horribly wrong, I can pull the sheets apart or turn them over and try again!

My designs are screen printed by hand to ensure each one is unique.
